Sashtiapthapoorthi is a traditional Hindu ceremony that is performed to celebrate a couple’s 60th wedding anniversary. The term “Sashtiapthapoorthi” is derived from two Sanskrit words: “Shashti,” which means sixty, and “abda poorthi,” which means completion of years. The ceremony is also known as “Sadabhishekam” in some parts of India.
